The Winter Season is ending, TTNY will look to the Spring and Summer.
The Winter Season is winding down. TTNY had great programs like the Technical Clinic, Playmaker Clinic, and the Premier Clinic. Players of all skill levels worked hard to improve their soccer skills in the off season. This Winter TTNY was also able to kick off their Select Program with three teams of boys and girls born in 2018 and 2019. The teams completed well and had fun at the Cherry Valley Sports 5v5 Tournaments.
It is time to look forward to the Spring and Summer Programs. TTNY is excited to offer a number of options to supplement the player's Club, Travel, and Intramural teams. Technical Touch NY will continue to offer Premier Training. In addition, our Spring Technical Tots Clinic will begin in March. TTNY will also offer an opportunity for players to polish their play for tryouts with our Tryout Skills Clinic starting in April. We will also offer a one-day Academy Clinic on 3/20/26. Finally with the summer right around the corner, we will once again have two weeks of our unique indoor soccer camp.
About Technical Touch NY
Background
Technical Touch originated in Colorado as a company that promoted individual development for the benefit of the team. During its time in New York the coaches of Technical Touch NY have successfully helped players and teams reach their goals. Athletes trained by Technical Touch coaches have won league and high school championships. Numerous participants have gone on to play at the highest levels including Division 1 colleges.
Director
Technical Touch began in New York thanks to the efforts of Director of Coaching and Head Coach Geoff O'Connell. Coach O'Connell is a native of Nassau County. He played Long Island Junior Soccer for Valley Stream, West Babylon and East Meadow. Geoff attended Chaminade High School and was the varsity captain. Finally, he played Division 1 soccer at the College of the Holy Cross where he was also captain. Since Graduating in 2005, he has coached High School Varsity at Chaminade High School and for 14 years he was the Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Valley Stream North HS. He is currently concentrating on building Technical Touch NY Inc and coaches travel Soccer for the Floral Park Soccer Club. Coach O'Connell has helped his teams win two state titles, numerous league championships, and helped many players go on to play in college and beyond.
Philosophy
We believe that being comfortable on and off the ball is important. Technical Touch NY sessions revolve around activities that promote both fitness and ball skills. Team tactics are developed through small-sided competitions and larger in game situations. Every time we step on the field we want to improve and HAVE FUN!

TTNY One Day Academy Clinic
On March 20th sign up for 3 hours of soccer training, fun games, and prizes. Activities will improve dribbling, passing, and finishing. Register Here.
Technical Tots Clinic:
A six-week clinic that will introduce the game to players 3 years old to 6 years old. Sessions will focus on teaching basic skills, building confidence, promoting teamwork and developing motor skills. Registration is open now.
